NORECO I Conducts Occupational First Aid Training and Earthquake/Fire Drills

Today, March 16, 2026, NORECO I Headquarters successfully held its Occupational First Aid Training and Earthquake/Fire Drills facilitated by the BFP Bindoy, in compliance with DOLE and NEA advisories. This initiative equipped our personnel with essential first aid and life-saving skills, ensuring safety and preparedness in emergency situations.

In line with the NSED, the training was originally set for March 12, but it was successfully conducted on March 16 as earlier coordinated with BFP last February, prior to receiving the NSED schedule. The activity concluded with earthquake and fire drills actively participated in by all trainees, employees present in the vicinity, and our valued MCOs transacting at the office.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our ever-supportive GM Elvin Dennoyo Strauss Theyknowyou and ISD Manager Ma’am Jonah Baldoza Mapula-Maxino for gracing the event with their presence. Special thanks also to BFP Bindoy, headed by SFO3 Lindy Mae C Ramirez – OIC Bfp Nir Bindoy FireStation, for responding to our request, and to FO1 Stephanie Jayne Polinar (Nurse Trainer) from BFP Tanjay Fire Station for generously sharing her expertise in safety and health.

To all participants, especially those who traveled from our Area Sub-stations and offices in Mabinay, Bais, Vallehermoso, and Guihulngan City, thank you for your commitment. May the skills and knowledge gained empower you to respond effectively in times of emergencies, safeguarding the lives of our co-workers who tirelessly serve our MCOs across NORECO I’s coverage area.

Together, we build a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience.
