The second batch of Coop’s Seminar on Safe and Defensive Driving was successfully held on January 14, 2025, in Solidarity Hall, NORECO I. This event was organized through Coop’s Safety and Health Committee with full support from the Management led by GM engr E Dennoyo and in collaboration with the Philippine National Police – Highway Patrol Group (HPG) Dumaguete, headed by PEMS A. Bodo. The seminar aligns seamlessly with our Cooperative’s Mission & Vision, as well as our commitment to the Occupational Safety and Health Program Implementation and Employee’s Continuing Education and Development.

This kick-off seminar at the start of the year aims to prevent or reduce unexpected road incidents in 2025 by enhancing employees’ driving knowledge, anticipation, decision-making skills, and attitudes while operating motorized vehicles. It goes beyond road rules and basic driving mechanics, providing training that reduces the risk of collisions and improves road safety.
