Application for Net Metering

Net metering is a program with a billing mechanism that allows consumers who generate their own electricity (typically via solar photovoltaic (PV) systems) to sell excess electricity back to the grid. It’s a key part of the country’s renewable energy strategy under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (Republic Act No. 9513).

Letter of Intent	The letter must be addressed to the General Manager
Application Form	Applicants can request the form in NORECO I Main Office.
Identification Documents	Valid ID and/or NORECO I membership ID
Certificate of Good Standing	This will be issued by the Finance Services Department if the applicant (existing) is found to have settle all his obligations to NORECO I
Membership (for new customers only)	A certificate or ID is issued to all who have succesfully complied with all the requirements for membership
Electrical Plan with RE facility interconnection set-up duly signed and sealed by a Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)	c/o Applicant
Spot Diagram/Typical PV System Layout	c/o Applicant
Electrical Permit (for new connection applicant)	c/o Applicant
Product specification of inverter and solar panel	c/o Applicant
Location Map of the Facility	c/o Applicant

Certificate of conduct of Distribution Impact Study (DIS)	A DIS shall be conducted by NORECO I to ensure the reliability and safety of the interconnection of the Renewable Energy (RE) facility system and the Distribution System. A Certificate shall be issued if such interconnection is acceptable based on applicable standards. No DIS fee shall be collected.
Proof of payment of applicable fees to NORECO I	c/o Applicant
Certificate of Final Inspection and Completion	This certificate is issued by the Technical Services Department (TSD) as proof of Final Inspection and Completion, and that the facility has complied with all requirements in accordance to applicable standards
Copy of accomplished form with Data During Testing and Commissioning	c/o Applicant
Other data as may be required by the handling officer	c/o Applicant

Having all the requirements complied, the interconnection shall now proceed with its energization	NORECO I
